When FC-8840A Four Doors Access Control Board control 4 doors (including electric lock), can I use a 3.5V power supply to ensure the normal use of the system ?

Hello! The working current of a FC-8840A 4 Doors Access Control Board is about 200MA to 350MA. The working current of eight sets of standard access card reader is about 120*8=960MA. And the working current of 4 sets of electric locks is 120MA to 600MA per set. If you calculate according to 4 sets, the working current is about 2.4A. If you add them all up , all current is about 3.5A. You said the output of the power supply is only 3.5A, so the power supply is not enough. According to the standard design power supply should 50% of the surplus current power to plan system power. Advise you choose the 5A working power supply, or choose 3.5A switching power supply to provide the main board and car reader power supply. And the electric lock needs additional power supply to provide electric power. However, at present,because of the limited unit, we advise that you can choose the appropriative 3.5A power supply the current of main board and card reader, and then equip another set of power supply to provide the power of electric lock.
