FC-198M is Mifare Card access controller, it built in a card reading circuit, using the RFID techonology, but the metal have some influence with it, so the device read card failure, we suggest that lifting height by woodblock (Away from 2-3 meters), keep FC-198M away from metal, it will be better. The products of RFID technology will influence card reading if installed on metals doors, please pay attention when installed on similar products.
